Class of 1976 joins the fun to celebrate our 45th Reunion
Be sure to see your classmates at the NHHS Alumni Homecoming Weekend. Stop by our Class of 1976 check-in station on Sat. Oct 16th 12-3pm to mingle and write a message in our guestbook. Look for the EZ-UP on the 15th Street lawn near the tower.
During the weekend of October 15-17th the NHHS Alumni Association is presenting the 90th Birthday Homecoming Weekend. It will be full of family-friendly events and lots of opportunities for our Sailor family to reconnect.
The Association will be hosting a tailgate dinner before the football game, a concert with the band HONK, and other gatherings, but the most important piece is our Campus Open House Saturday October 16th from 12-3pm. This event will spread out in front of the school on 15th Street, and will include food trucks, live music, campus tours, and lots of old friends. Food trucks from TK Burger & tacos, a stage with live music from alumni bands, campus tours, a chance to see inside our Heritage Hall museum, pop-up booths from NHHS teams & groups, as well as a meet-and-greet area with beloved teachers, coaches, and staff.

NHHS 90th Birthday Bash & Class of 1976 45th Reunion Weekend October 15-17, 2021
It may be the school’s 90th birthday celebration year, but is also our Class of 1976 45th Reunion. No formal announcements (yet), but some sort of tie-in with the school’s celebration seems like a can’t miss opportunity for our class to once again gather. As of July 1st, tickets to see HONK on Oct 16 in our school’s Robert B. Wentz Theater are still available. Check back for more information as the date approaches.

Please check back toward the end of the year. Once the craziness of 2020 is behind let’s plan some sort gathering in 2021 to celebrate the 45 years since our Class of 1976 graduation. The idea is to keep it affordable and informal to entice as many classmates and friends as possible to attend.

40th Reunion October 1, 2016
On Saturday, October 1st, 2016, about 140 of us came together to celebrate 40 years since graduating from Newport Harbor High School in 1976. The American Legion was a terrific venue for the casual gathering on a delightful fall evening.
The 40th Reunion celebration may be over, but this site is not going away.
