Eight bells have tolled,
and your watch has ended, classmate and fellow Sailor;
rest easy now, rest in peace.
Though you have sailed beyond the horizon,
you remain in our hearts and memories.
Fair winds and following seas.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.

Eight Bells – The ringing of a ship’s bell eight times is a maritime tradition signifying the end of a sailor’s watch. It is used here as a respectful tribute to classmates who have completed life’s voyage. Video link.
